SERGEY ZHIGUNOV

On our telescreens with tremendous success there is a serial "My fine nurse". One of the most known actors who have acted in film in this serial - Sergey Zhigunov. The childhood
Sergey was born and has spent the childhood in Rostov-on-Don. Mum Sergey was the actress, it has ended theatrical institute, and the daddy constantly participated in amateur performance. The books read by Sergey have led to that it has become seriously interested in archeology. Sergey Viktorovich recollects: "... Wished to be the archeologist. Once to Rostov there has arrived on tour theatre "Ленком". Sergey has not passed any performance and long could not forget the impression made on it Караченцовым. In the tenth class Sergey has played one of roles in performance of the Rostov theatre, and the then director of Theatre of a name Vahtangova Evgenie Simonov, having seen the young man, has advised to it to go to Moscow and to test in an actor's field. Father Zhigunov, the person serious, first opposed to such decision a little, considering, that to the son is better to go to work. However by common efforts of it have overpersuaded.

 

Theatrical school
In Moscow Sergey has arrived in Theatrical school of B.V.ShChukina. But he studied there not long. It was not pleasant to teachers, that the future actor writes verses, and takes a great interest in it seriously, giving has not enough time. Songs on its verses were used in performance under Schwarz's play which went to the Moscow State University, and it too not was pleasant to all. Last drop was that Zhigunov has started to act in film. For edification of other students it have deducted from school.

 

Sergey Zhigunov recollects: "And my course has told, that I should not be engaged in this trade. They as though petitioned before administration that I am unworthy a rank of the student, well and so on...".

 

Sergey has returned to native Rostov-on-Don. There it has worked year in ТЮЗе, playing various roles. And then … has returned to Moscow, in the same Shchukinsky school. It was restored and with other course in 1986 has ended it.

 

The first roles at cinema

As it has already been told, at cinema Sergey Zhigunov debuted still studying in the theatrical. Marriage
On shootings of a film "Chance" (1984) Sergey has got acquainted with the actress Belief Новиковой. It has occurred just after him have expelled from school. At that time the Belief was two years the actress of Theatre of name Вахтангова. It had many offers to act in film. Than the known young man has involved it to nobody.

Here he thinks out the project, goes to ask money, to it speak "is not present". I would cry in a pillow and have forgotten. And it comes next day, with a modern history and again asks money, but already it is less. He will achieve the until will receive. Won me Сережа approximately under the same scenario ".

 

The belief long doubted: "I already had a home life experience, and I have been assured, that second time I will marry intelligently and extremely seriously. "Naval cadets, forward!"
As a rule, after the termination of study actors choose to themselves theatre, but Sergey Zhigunov has preferred to cinema theatre: "I wished to work at theatre. Especially in" Ленкоме ". "A vault of witches"
In 1990 Sergey Zhigunov has acted in a leading role in Jury Moroza's fantastic film "Vault of witches". Jury Moroz has made attempt to shoot a film a-lja "Командос", or something in this sort. "Queen Margo"
After the first success with a film "Black square" producer activity was included into Sergey Zhigunov's life, having taken a place on a level with the actor's. In the mid-nineties it has started shootings of the first scale costume serial in Russia. For a screen version Alexander Duma's well-known novel "Queen Margo" has been chosen.

Actors for roles chose as the director of a serial Alexander Muratov, so Sergey Zhigunov. The producer and the actor
Producer activity takes away from Sergey Viktorovicha more and more time. It shoots films "the Princess on beans", "Undressed", "Dances under the defective Moon", "the Moon the garden was full", the serial "That has told the dead man" … And that a film, success!

 

In a melodrama "the Princess on beans" (director Vilen Novak) he plays businessman Dimu Pupkova solving by means of fictitious marriage to get rid of the dissonant surname. Before our eyes the semifarcical situation develops into a love story of heroes of Zhigunov and Сафоновой.

 

The melodrama "the Moon had the big success the garden" was full of director Vladimir Melnikova. Here Zhigunov did not play, represented itself as the producer. When Sergey Viktorovich started this picture, to it said, that the history about three older persons will be interesting to nobody. As a result the film has collected a heap of prizes: a special prize of the Moscow film festival, prizes of the spectator liking, two "Gold nymphs" in Monte-Carlo, Grand prix in Plovdiv, 4 prizes on "Film shock", "Ника" for a female role, "Gold овен" for a female role, "the Gold hero", in Iran of Grand prix on a film festival.

 

Zhigunov tells: "… at festival all who him looked, cried. At Sergey Zhigunov's spouses and Belief Новиковой two daughters - Настя and Masha. Настя has finished college in England, has married and lives there. Masha studies in Russia, and as the film already was told, acts in.

In the summer I with the great pleasure potter with colours on a summer residence. About, I the expert in this business! At me it is a lot of colours, and I can be dug by hours. It so is joyful! I like to plant trees. In the winter I fill in a skating rink, I skate and on санках.

 

On holidays I with pleasure prepare a goose, a duck. On days off I fry meat. All praise. Once the daddy has learnt me to clean a potato very quickly. I like it to do and in a few minutes I can polish a bucket ".

 

The wife
Quite often happens, that directors or producers include in the pictures of the wives, children. Belief Новикова acts in film in Sergey Zhigunov's pictures extremely seldom. Public work
In the spring of 2000 Sergey Zhigunov became the President of Guild of actors of cinema, having replaced on Evgenie Zharikov's this post. Sergey Zhigunov: "I did not want it, but circumstances have developed so, that I simply not could arrive in another way. When me have selected, I at all did not assume with what difficulties to me it is necessary to face. I fondly thought, that all in a full order, not representing a real state of affairs... The First half a year of my work in this post have left on absolutely unexpected affairs for me: litigations, finding-out of relations with tax services, debts under the budget... I was engaged in situation alignment, the decision of the problems which have collected for the previous period. The large quantity of time and forces has been spent for leading the organisation to an initial denominator". On this post Sergey Zhigunov has worked till winter of 2005. Then it was replaced by well-known actor Boris Galkin.

 

Sergey Viktorovich is also the President of festival "Constellation". From the closed action for actors it has transformed it into a bright, pathos show with variety of actions within the limits of festival (concerts, performances of actors).

 

Archi Goodwin
One of Sergey Zhigunov's last works at cinema as actor and the producer - a serial "Niro Woolf and Archi Goodwin" (2003) on Reksa Stout's products. During Sergey Zhigunov's Soviet times have invited to pass tests for Archi Goodwin's role. It has been already confirmed, and the film and has not started to act in film. But the desire to get into a skin of the assistant to the great detective, is visible, was so is great, that after many years Zhigunov has conceived to remove a serial about Niro Woolf, became its producer and itself has invited to Archi Goodwin's role. Niro Woolf in a serial has played well-known Донатас Банионис.

 

S.Zhigunov: "This material very much differs from how the modern Russian detective looks on the screen. Here - a retro. It is a film less bloody and more civilised, intelligent. However, unfortunately, less dynamical, than groundless"стрелялка".

 

Comedy serials
Still in the late nineties Sergey Zhigunov has put the first comedy serial. He considers that experience successful. "There not all has turned out in respect of humour, but all was worthy - a sound, a picture, actors …" - Sergey Viktorovich tells.

 

In 2004 Zhigunov has returned to idea of creation Russian ситкома. This time a leading role - producer Shatalina he has played itself, and unknown person Anastas Zavorotnjuk has been invited to a role of the nurse of its children earlier to anybody.

 

Sergey Viktorovich admits, that, certainly, such producers as its character, in a life does not happen, but... "Max Shatalina's All charm that it anywhere, and the nurse the real-life character.
